This darling suit can be whipped up in micro suede for a contemporary-yet-retro look. Try it in seersucker for summer shopping and in dupioni for an evening on the town. The fitted jacket meets at the center front with tiny hooks and eyes while the skirt closes in the back with a couple of snaps. Make the hat to match or in a contrasting texture like pleather, felt, or even a casual knit.
